A. Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers is a 100% Australian family owned business and all products are made right here in Australia from locally sourced materials.
Q. How many bricks do I need to build a house?
A. On average you would need around 6000 to 8000 bricks to build a house, obviously depending on size and design.
Q. What are Littlehampton Bricks made of?
A. Bricks are composed from a varying combination of; Natural Clay, Shale, Sand, Water. The colour of the brick depends on the clay mix used, firing temperatures, kiln setting and additives. You can also view our short film about how bricks are made here.
Q. What colours of bricks are available?
A. Our clay bricks are made in a variety of colours from a very light fire brick, to a much brick bricks and many colours in between. more information and links to our brick range galleries!

(older and period houses tend to use thinner bricks)
We also make a special 50mm slim profile for some bricks which is: 230mm X 110mm X 50mm
Q. Do clay bricks disintegrate or break down over time?
A. No. Our natural Clay Bricks donât disintegrate or fade over time. Many examples of our early bricks made over 100 years ago are still in constant use today!
